HOW TO INSTALL ARTIFICIAL GARDEN WALLS
Step 1: To make sure you have enough panels measure the area in height and width. We can advise how many panels are required.
Step 2: Recognise the surface area to be installed. Each surface has different requirements for installation.
Colorbond Fence: Metal screws may be used to screw the garden walls directly to colorbond. The metal screws will protrude on the other side. To avoid protrusion, drill a hole in the colorbond and attach using cable ties. A third party material, such as timber, may be attached to the colorbond as well.
Wire fence, Cyclone, Mesh etc: Black cable ties keep the garden in place. We recommend 25cms UV cable ties.
Plasterboard: Screw directly into the wall using 20mm screws.
Rock or stone wall: Screw directly into the wall using a plastic plug and screw. Nylon nail plugs are just as useful.
Concrete: Timber frames with screws or Nylon nail plugs.
Timber: Timber screws.
Step 3: Begin with wall plants facing upwards.
Step 4: Always begin installation at the top and work your way sideways and down.
Step 5: Mark the wall or surface using a level. The initial level is imperative to maintain the best look.
Step 6: Fix all panels using using holes on the backing and the level lines you marked.
Step 7: Metal panels may be fixed to your material using the guide above. For plastic backings click panels together using our in-built clips.
Step 8: Repeat Joining process working downwards.
Step 9: Panels are fixed to the walls via screws and panels are fixed together. A suitable amount of screws should be used to prevent panels falling.
Step 10: Plastic panels may be trimmed if down to fit your wall.
